About Us:
Pelican Leisure Sports is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist us in our Delivery Department. As the #1 Home Resort Products Retailer in the Northeast, we pride ourselves on providing top-tier products and services to our customers. We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team.
Job Description:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering products like Spas, Saunas, and Patio Furniture to customers in the local area. This role requires a clean driving record, physical strength, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. You may be assigned additional duties as needed. Previous experience is helpful but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily job routes with the Delivery Coordinator.
- Ensure accurate and thorough completion of work orders.
- Document and communicate any issues discovered at the time of delivery.
- Work with customers and service teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Identify and recommend additional products and services to customers.
- Complete all paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Stay updated on product knowledge through training and resources.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle according to scheduled service intervals.
- Assist in warehouse/store operations as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid PA State driver's license.
- No more than one minor driving infraction in the last three years.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of mechanical diagnosis and repair principles.
- Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs without assistance.
